No céu de KL / In the sky of KL
O nosso segundo dia em Kuala Lumpur foi quase todo passado no céu...
Visitámos a Torre Menara, as Torres Petronas e usufruímos do jardim à volta destas ultimas.
Andámos quase sempre a pé, pois são distâncias relativamente curtas, mas o que custa mais é efetivamente suportar o calor!
Vale mesmo a pena subir ao Sky Deck da Torre Menara: são 422m de altura na 7ª torre mais alta do mundo. Aqui sentimos a pressão de estar tão acima do nível do chão! Existem umas plataformas totalmente em vidro onde podemos entrar e ter a sensação de literalmente flutuar...
Our second day in Kuala Lumpur was almost all spent in the sky... We visited the Menara Tower, the Petronas Towers and enjoyed the garden around it. We walked by foot, because there's relatively short distances, but what's really hard is actually to bear the heat! It's well worth going up to the Sky Deck of the Menara Tower: it's 422m high in the 7th tallest tower in the world. Here we feel the pressure of being so above the ground level! There are platforms in glass where we can enter and have the sensation of literally floating...

As Torres Petronas são edifícios de escritórios que se podem visitar (o andar da ponte de ligação e o 83º andar). Têm uma segurança muito apertada e as visitas são de 15 em 15 minutos (duração 45 minutos). Convém reservar as entradas antes (pode ser online).
The Petronas Towers are office buildings that can be visited (the connecting bridge floor and the 83rd floor). They have a very tight security and the visits start every 15 minutes (45 minutes duration). It's advisable to book the tickets before (it can be online).
